Clearview Capital Partners believes that a fund manager's primary focus should be managing their investment funds and producing significant returns for investors. As is typical with the many services that managers leverage to successfully operate their funds, a dedicated third party who markets the fund to accredited investors can be invaluable in helping the manager keep this focus, while accelerating the growth of assets under management.

THE DUE DILIGENCE PROCESS
Prior to accepting a manager for a marketing assignment, Clearview and its principals seek to intimately understand the funds investment strategy, risk management, and other factors that a sophisticated investor would need to understand and evaluate prior to making an investment. Clearview meets the manager and the investment team, calls 10 - 15 references (both those supplied by the manager and industry references of Clearview's choosing) and performs final due diligence on the strategy and the team background. Once the reference checking process is complete a final FEE decision is made whether to take on the fund as a client. This decision is not taken lightly as Clearview is putting its reputation with its investor base on the line, and entering into a lengthy relationship with the manager where Clearview will raise a substantial amount of capital typically $100 - $500 million and act as if it were the funds internal marketing arm.
HOW WE RAISE CAPITAL
Clearview maintains a large proprietary database of fund of hedge fund fund of funds, family offices, endowments, pension funds, and other institutional investors and is in a continuous dialogue with these investors regarding which strategies they are currently looking to invest in. Clearview uses its network of contacts to evaluate and qualify investors prior to bringing in the fund manager and only pursues a dialogue with targeted investors that have expressed an interest in the fund and its strategy. Pre-qualifying new investors ensures that marketing trips remain productive and efficient, adding value for the fund manager and his business. Clearview's interest are aligned with those of the fund manager, with the first and most important consideration being that the investment fund meet its goals and provide significant returns to its investors. When this goal is achieved Clearview is able to share in the success of the manager.

FEE STRUCTURE & COMPENSATION
